Psalm 71:1-6

Romans 15:1-7

Theme: God seeks unity in the church, and we all say we know this.  However, the hard work is to do what Paul says and "please others" instead of ourselves. ow dHow canHoHow?

I. Read the Bible for instruction and encouragement (vs. 4)

AND

II. See the value of God's goal, which is "unified voice to glorify God"  (vs. 6)

Taking steps within our church structure of how to handle disagreements is one tactic toward unity; Examining each of our own hearts and motives is, however, foundational to unity. Nothing can keep us apart from God’s love. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ. For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.” (8:1-2)

A Brand new People found its root in Romans 12 …. Secure in Christ, we can make decisions to become more holy people, working together in God’s church. “I appeal to you therefore, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”

Staying Focused was based onRomans 14 . . . . There are many religious rules and practices that we can get caught up in, but our focus must be on Jesus Christ. Let’s
