The UMW is proud to report a successful Rummage & Bake Sale. Thanks to all who contributed their time and saleable items. And to those who came to shop. We have $1333 to use on mission projects reaching far and wide. Again, THANKS TO THOSE WHO PUT TOGETHER THIS GOOD SALE.
Our JUNE MEETING will be Tuesday, the 8th. Bag lunch at noon in the lounge. Join us for a very special program which will be given by Don & Grace Snyder on URAGUAY. Business meeting follows. Need more information or a ride? Call Celia at 776-2534. On May 11th several members of our group went to the UMW District Spring Dinner at Club 86 in Geneva. There were 200+ people there. We were honoring many from the District who had received the Special Recognition awards. Pat and Lenny Fuller from our church were among them.
Components for HEALTH KITS are being collected. Items needed at this time are: hand towel, nail file or small fingernail clipper. We have an abundance of the other items needed for each kit. You can also donate money – the cost of shipping each kit is $2.
Tuesday, June 2nd, a mission study on "The Sudan" will be held at Newark UMC from 9:30am-3:00pm. Please bring a Bagged lunch. If you can go please call Celia at 776-2534. We will share rides!
