Main Text:                    Revelation 7: 9-17

Theme: The pure worship by saints in heaven informs the worship of saints on earth.

Summary of Message:  The exuberance of the saints in heaven ought to teach us that pure worship is something we are caught up in because of the awesome nature of God and his Son.  It is not something we can fabricate or something we can control.

Felt Need this theme addresses:  To rediscover the feel of true spirit - worship.

Desired Outcome of message and entire service: A letting go of anxiety about how we worship and, just enter into true worship.

 Question: How do the saints in heaven worship, and what are the ramifications for us?

Outline:

1.     Caught up in the awesome nature of God and His Son.

2.     Every tribe, tongue, people, nation is represented.

3.      This is life and death to them (saved from death into life).

4.     Their worship is day and night (totally consumed with it).

5.     Cannot be controlled or made up.

6.     Marked by breaking into singing!
